RolePlayGateway?

"Joseph Clark here", was the sound that came out of a young man's mouth into his mobile, as he strode along the corridor, his footsteps echoing throughout the room. Either side of him, were rows of tables, each of them littered with paper and computer screens, all manned by men and women dressed in suits as was he, each looking up to him as he passed, clearly showing that he was the one in charge.

"Mr Clark. I'm afraid we bring bad news. Is it ok to speak?", was the sound that returned back to Joseph's ears, in which he responded immediately with, "Give me a sec", as his eyes and finger glared upon another man and pointed back towards the path he had just walked down, before sticking his hand out to push open the door of his office.

Inside was a large window with double-glazed doors inbetween, where there was a balcony outside. The office was styled in walnut panels with a tall leather chair tucked behind a grand desk, but Joseph passed by the luxury and comfort of his seat, and stepped out onto the balcony, where he then spoke into his mobile again, "Okay I'm free", making sure he was away from everyone else.

Joseph prized privacy, making sure those who wished for a moment's peace got it, and also making sure that when there was a need for heads being banged together, he would do just that. At the start of his career, many looked down at him, seeing him too young, too naive, but he had climbed the ladder and now reached the top, being a Director of his own company and a great businessman.

The female on the other side of the line, could of been a possible client, or a client pulling away, which meant it was top priority for Joseph to be on the other side, making sure that his way came into fruition. However, the female was not a client, or possible client, but a Doctor, and the news was not good news at all. As he grew, he dived into reading (more newspaper than books), done daily exercises, play games, all those usual stuff young people do, before leaving home to set down his own road. His road however came to a standstill and seemed he must return home as the Doctor informed him of his parents' death, but what startled him more, was that he had a brother, Alistair, who he would now be required to take care of.

Joseph could deal with nitty gritty contracts, but when his past caught up with him, and having part of his past life being brought into his new life, it was going to be hard. After switching his mobile off, he then gripped onto the balcony with his hand and closed his eyes as he felt the air hit his face. Yes he had left, not because there was no love lost, but now he had someone else, and how would he fit it all in his routine. He was due in the gym in an hour.

Unfortunately, that would have to wait or he'd have some visitors disturbing his business for not complying with his duties at home, and so he left his office, leaving the Deputy Director in charge after calling him in and giving him his own version of the story, before putting on his shaded sunglasses and entering his BMW, immediately putting on the throttle and heading...home. Something he had not done for awhile.

Memory served well for where to go, but what perked his interest was his brother, Alistair. On his way down, he popped into the Hospital to collect his parents' things, before arriving at his former home. Pulling up outside, he opened his car door and closed, before looking up towards the home he grew up in. It was quite a sight, and nothing compared to where he lived now, and was quite unsure how all this would work out. Would his brother be like him, would he even like him? He wasn't use to have a sibling, as it was all about him, but now. A sigh escaped his mouth.

He was a businessman afterall, head of a business, not a family, and though he had wits, and brawn, it was something he hadn't really prepared for. You couldn't prepare yourself for such a thing, especially as unexpected as this was, as he stuck the key into the keyhole and turned, the door opening slightly as he entered, as familiar sights were brought back to life, as he begun to walk about, picking up photos and picturing himself back when he was younger, before calling out, "Alistairrrr!". Only a matter of time before he sees exactly who he'd be dealing with, couldn't be that bad thinking about it....clients were alot harder....
