Our Client is a Global OSS solutions vendor and we are looking to recruit a Sales Manager (Germany) to join there Central and Eastern European Sales team based out of Dusseldorf in Germany.

Role Overview:

As part of the sales team for the CEE region, the Sales Manager will play a crucial role in the sales efforts, driving sales growth and profitability for our client across the region. There are significant existing accounts to manage and the Sales Manager will be expected to develop new business in the major Telco?s of the region.

Key responsibilities:

  • Work with key functions and the client CxO level managers and their teams to identify customer issues and link them to Our Client offerings by creating customer value propositions that deliver revenues attributable to Our Client in line with annual targets
  • Act as a strategic advisor to current and prospective customers through consultative sales
  • Develop and execute a cohesive Account Plan for the customer according to the Our Client Account Planning Methodology
  • Identify strategic initiatives in the customers and influence their decision-making to position Our Client to succeed in these initiatives
  • Identify systems integrators and network vendors that can add value in customers? strategic initiatives
  • collaboration with sales team members
  • Feedback information about customer needs to product management and product development.

Required skills:

  • Experienced and credible in all interactions with C-level executives
  • Self-starter able to work with minimum supervision
  • Good team player, with experience of matrix management, and the maturity to understand how to work with and motivate individuals who make up the sales team.
  • Energetic and hungry for success in a new business sales environment
  • Capability to fluently discuss elements and aspects of Total Cost of Ownership, ROI and other business case metrics and build propositions based on these to current and prospective customers
  • Proven oral, written and presentation communication skills in English is mandatory
  • Able to understand, discuss and explain business and high level technical issues related to client?s business problem and Our Client?s proposed solution

Experience:

  • 5+ years of selling solutions to telecom (networks, OSS/BSS)
  • Experience of previously working for international companies in the OSS/ BSS sector is a very strong plus
  • Previous experience of successfully selling and delivering of technology solutions to all levels within the organisation.
  • Must have recent and detailed experience of the Telco market in DACH and the wider region, its, customers and the key players.
