Halloween Party
Your home needs to be decorated to set the mood.
A easy and fun way to decorate for a Halloween party is make your home a haunted house. Things looking old and stained does wonders. Remember gory is in your details.
Haunted House How-To
Dim the lights through out the party area. Unscrew some of the light bulbs temporarily. Make sure the area is safe for walking. Safely utilize candles to add extra spooky ambiance. I perfer them up high, away from other burnable items.
Use music set the tone. Chains rattling, blood curtling screams, crazy laughter, etc. Find a good CD.
Drape serving tables and end tables with black fabric. Cover with spider webs and fake spiders ? unless you prefer the real ones.
Use stained fabric to cover furniture. To age the fabric soak in the bathtub with tea bags.
Make hand streaks using fake blood on any thing that is easy to clean. If you have some old towels you can put bloody hand prints on them and hang up.
Spider webs around it good.
These ideas are great for throwing a spooky Halloween party. Just remember the age group the party is for when choosing which ideas to use. Always be thinking safety!
